Bionano proporciona los kits necesarios para purificar ADN de Ultra Alto Peso Molecular (UHMW) utilizando protocolos que implican lisis, unión, lavados y un novedoso sistema de discos paramagnéticos. Por medio de la tecnología DLS (direct label and stain), marcadores fluorescentes son unidos a motivos específicos de 6pb presentes aproximadamente 15 veces cada 100kpb del ADN. Esta tecnología mantiene el ADN intacto. El resultado en un patrón de marcaje genoma-específico que permite ensamblar de novo, unir contings y descubrir variantes estructurales desde 500pb: Inserciones, deleciones, inversiones, translocaciones balanceadas, translocaciones no balanceadas y CNV.
